When I joined the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), I became a member of their on-line critique group Eureka! A fantastic virtual critique group for members from all over the UK and Europe who write and illustrate picture books.
In that group I met the amazing Emma Perry. Not only are we firm friends but she is also the creator of My Book Corner – a dedicated web site for parents, teachers and more importantly young READERS to go to, when deciding on their next book.
Emma asked me if I would like to join her website review crew and I’m delighted to be one of her middle grade (8-12 y/old) book reviewers. I have the enviable task of reviewing lots of soon-to-be published and published books! Now my to-be-read pile is even bigger than it was before but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
